I just want to take a moment to pay tribute to Joe Shikany. I met Joe when I was working at Joo's Music West in the 70's. We ran into each other from time to time and it was always a great visit. Joe, I'll miss you for who you were and all I learned by watching you play.

Just a note to let you all know we are having the best time performing at The County Line in Southpark. It may not seem like much but I'd rather be playing there than many other places we've been!! The people are the nicest and the fans are having a good time dancing and visiting with each other. We are looking forward to making it our Southend hangout. Drop by for a drink, a great hamburger and some good music!!!

Many apologies to all. I had forgotten to change the date of this event to July 14th. I am sorry if you missed it. My bad !!! It was a grand event and the weather was wonderful!!!

But never fear. It will be an even bigger success next year and I promise I will get the right date posted.

Well, here we are just about to face a New Year. The Evin Rudes have been busy adding new dance tunes to the new 70's and 80's format. I have to admit this is the most fun I've had in years! Songs by Men at Work, Duran-Duran,Foreigner,Hall & Oates, Tears For Fears and so on. I really think most of you will enjoy the new format as much as we enjoy performing for you !!!

OK !!! IT'S OFFICIAL !!!
The EVIN RUDES is now a trio specializing in 70's and 80's rock . A new more powerful approach and fresher song lists. The EVIN RUDES will spend the first couple of months up dating the song list and working out the three man formula. Ed will head up most of the lead vocals while playing keys and keyboard bass. In some numbers Ed will play bass letting Dan do all the guitar work. You might even see Dan play bass for a song or two and don't forget Jim playing drums and electronic percussion and singing a song or two himself. This will be an exciting year for The EVIN RUDES and you can be sure they will "rock your socks off" at any gig you catch them at.

Just a little note to let those of you who are into reading this page that the 13th Ave Pub in Lynnwood is a great gig. The EVIN RUDES played there on Friday, September 2nd and it was a ball from beginning to end. The management and staff are very cordial and helpful. Even if you blow a circuit breaker. The regular crowd was very responsive which made our own followers feel more at home. They all had a great time. Even though there is no stage there is plenty of room and a decent dance area right in front of the band. It was kind of cool to have the assorted pool players and dart players singing along, applauding and yelling out requests from time to time. Just one big happy party. We hope to play there again soon.
As one nighters go, this is one of the best.
